Elmhurst Memorial Hospital

From July 2008 to September 2008, Case Foundation completed auger cast piles at the new campus of Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. Case Foundation installed 1,377, 18” diameter augercast piles 55’-0 in length. Case utilized 2 rigs for the majority of the project averaging about 25 piles per rig. It was normal to achieve 65 piles per day with the 2 rigs. Case’s scope included furnishing and fabrication of reinforcement, layout and surveying, and trucking spoil disposal off-site completing a full scope package for the Gilbane team.
