Nigel Osborn is the President of Case Atlantic Company. Nigel received his Bachelors of Science (Honors) in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester in the UK. He has been the President of Case Atlantic since 1998. He is both a Professional Chartered Civil Engineer as well as a Professional European Engineer.
Nigel has over 30 years of geotechnical engineering/construction experience with specialist contractors and geotechnical engineers. He is responsible for numerous construction projects involving deep foundations including drilled shafts (also known as drilled piers or caissons), CFA piles, secant walls, driven piles, etc. He is responsible for all projects constructed by Case Atlantic in the Southern U.S. and Caribbean.
Some notable projects Nigel has been involved in include: the Virginia City Hybrid Energy Center where 522 shafts were installed, Cooper River bridge where 415 shafts were installed in active waterways and highways, New River Bridge where 40 shafts were installed by an active railroad, and countless others.
